I guess I haven't updated much because I feel that not much has happened...Jason and I are STILL living with his parents. Which is embarassing...its been nearly a year! I thought I would never move in with my in laws, or my parents after getting married. But times are tough and we had/have to do what we have to do! I am SUPER grateful for them letting us stay as long as we have. The reason we moved here in the first place was because we were living in Upland, CA and Jason wasn't finding work. We lived there for 6 months. I was working 40-45 hours a week but getting paid like I was making minimum wage at a part time job. I was working as an esthetician and only getting paid commision...so I HAD to be there whether or not I had clients, but only getting paid if I DID have clients. So once the economy started going to pot so did my income...for a long time I was making great money...but all of a sudden things went down hill and the first thing people cut from extra expenses is skin care and Lash extensions! All the clients I had for my first year at the Salon were disappearing! So Jason's parents were having to help us out a lot and that just wasn't fair. So we just had to deal with it and move in with them.
I STILL haven't found a job...and that is why we are still living here. Jason finally got a job about 3 or 4 months ago...before that he was working with his parents. He is working at a place called New Haven. Its basically a boys home for troubled teens ages 13-17. He absolutely LOVES his job! He has fun with the boys and its great experience for his future career in Psychology.
The only problem is that he works ALL the time! He works from 1:30 in the afternoon till sometimes 12:30 AM! so he is gone almost ALL evenings. I miss him a lot during the day...its been a rough adjustment...but we are making it work! The most disappointing thing is that its hard for Jay to get to a lot of family or friend events because of his work. I go to a lot things alone.. so a lot of my blogging will probably consist of just ME!
So... about a month and a half ago Jason and I got a new calling! It was a big surprise and I sure didn't see it coming! We got called to be Nursery workers! haha...Its been pretty trying so far. Jason seems to think its all great...but I am always stressed! haha I am the one dealing with the crying babies! We usually average about ten 18 month-2 year olds! At first we were called as assistants to a wonderful sister who had been in the calling for nearly 2 and half years. But after one week with her, she got released! Now its all on me and Jay! It has been quite an adjustment! If anyone has advice on how to deal with 3 crying children at once I would love to hear it!
Alright this has turned into quite a blog! I guess that happens when I don't blog often enough! I may post more blogs about things that happened a while ago...just to simply update!!!

Yay! I am glad you are back in the blogging world! I know how you feel, My husband has worked nights for the whole 3 and 1/2 years we have been married and I am always going to family and friend things alone: ( Hang in there girlie. Not sure if I have any advice about the crying babies though...we are in the primary in our ward and we have the biggest most rowdy class of CTR 5's it's pretty hard sometimes but when they are having a good day they are sooo cute.
